Why now is a good time to buy a Luxury Home

The best deals in Idaho Falls Idaho real estate market and throughout SE Idaho are Luxury homes.

I have one listed currently that the owner is willing to walk away from $130,000 in equity.

Why would a seller in this price range do this?

Because the buyers are thin.

It has been my experience that after you have owned one or two homes, you just don't want an average home, you want a home that says "I have worked all my life, and I deserve this."

Last week I was showing homes in the $300,000 to $400,000 range and noticed how many of the sellers called me wondering if we were going to make and offer, and how motivated they were.

Now if you plan on living in the home for quite a while, buying one for your own personal residence makes sense.

One advantage of buying an upper end home is they can appreciate quite rapidly.

You can actually get a home equity line of credit of the home of the equity you are picking up and use your home as a big check book to buy other income producing assets.

There are several homes in the Luxury home market here in Idaho Falls that you can pick up $100,000 equity plus.

You can get a home equity line of credit on this and buy other investments.

The other advantage is this is all tax deductible because it is interest on your primary residence.
